Florida CraftArt ‘Woof, Meow, Chirp and Slither’ Exhibition


I am so pleased to be among the artists in the Woof, Meow, Chirp and Slither show. I am also thrilled and grateful to have both of my ceramic dogs included in their promotional materials. There’s another sculpture as part of the exhibit and that’s ‘Love Struck’. (pictured below)

Fine craft artists interpret the world of pets in Florida CraftArt’s exhibition gallery from June 7-August 10, 2019.

Woof, Meow, Chirp and Slither: Artists Interpret the World of Pets is a juried exhibition of original art that showcases artists’ interpretations of the world of pets. 36 artists created over 100 pieces from jeweled cat collars to ceramic dog bowls and sculptures of pets.

The exhibition and programming are made possible by a generous grant from the Presenting Sponsor, AARP Tampa Bay, along with support from Pinellas Community Foundation, The New Barker Magazine, St.Pete.org/Paws, SPCA Tampa Bay and gotoSTEVES.com.In-kind sponsors are Hyatt Place and Photo Station.
The exhibition was judged by Simone B. DeLoach who has a Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors in Museum Studies, and a minor in Visual Arts from Eckerd College. She serves on the SPCA board and is the Director of Marketing at DeLoach, Hofstra and Cavonis, P.A.
